My go-to full body workout

You’re all psyched up to workout, lace up your shoes, and walk downstairs to the hotel gym. You know you want to do an awesome full body workout but as soon as you walk through the gym doors, your mind blanks. Without a workout video to follow, you have no idea what to do. You may even default to getting on the treadmill out of convenience.

This situation sounds all too familiar to me! So many times, I’d find myself in the middle of a hotel gym without a clue of what to do. I followed along with real time videos for most of my workouts at home, so without the convenience of a follow along workout, I was pretty lost.

That’s why I came up with this exact full body workout. This circuit is SUPER easy to remember and do in absolutely any hotel gym.

My go-to full body workout

When I built this workout, I knew it had to be:

  • Easy to remember
  • Full body
  • Using only one set of dumbbells

My go-to full body workout definitely hits the mark. Five exercises, five rounds, and ten reps per exercise makes it super easy to remember. The exercises all will challenge your full body, without needing to sub out a bunch of different DB weights. That’s why this is the exact workout I do every time I hit a hotel gym.

The best full body workout, perfect for traveling and hotel gyms. Five exercises, five rounds, and ten reps per exercise makes it super easy to remember. The exercises all will challenge your full body, without needing to sub out a bunch of different DB weights. That's why this is the exact workout I do every time I hit a hotel gym.

In order to complete today’s HIIT workout, grab a pair of moderate dumbbells. If it helps, I’m using 15lb dumbbells to complete the workout. If you don’t have any equipment, grab a backpack or work bag and fill it with books. You can use this as a makeshift sandbag.

I want you to go through this circuit 4-5 times through. If you’re looking for a longer workout, you can perform 10 reps per side of exercises 4 and 5.

As always, take it to your level. I’ll provide modifications and form cues in the demo video below.

Let me know if you have questions! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did! It’s a great full body workout to build strength and get your heart rate up.

What’s your workout today!?
